The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a warning to the public, party members, and supporters about fraudulent online links, websites, and social media accounts that are falsely claiming to be the official platform for membership registration. In a statement released by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, it was clarified that there is currently no official ADC registration link or website available.

The party urged the public to disregard all circulating links, emphasizing that it has not yet launched any online membership registration platform. The ADC is in the process of developing an official registration and verification platform, which will be announced through verified channels in due course.

The statement highlighted that the ADC will never request payments or sensitive personal information through unofficial links, WhatsApp messages, direct messages, or third-party websites. To safeguard against scams, the party provided guidance to the public, advising them not to click on suspicious links, share unverified registration messages, or submit personal information such as names, phone numbers, PVC details, BVN, or payment details to any unverified platform. Individuals are encouraged to report any suspicious links to the ADC through official communication channels.

The ADC reassured that all legitimate announcements, including the launch of the official membership registration platform, will only be communicated through verified ADC platforms and formal statements from party leadership. The party is actively addressing the issue to protect the public and maintain its integrity, particularly as it prepares for the upcoming 2027 elections. This alert follows previous incidents where the ADC disowned fake lists and warned against unauthorized online registration platforms aimed at defrauding Nigerians. Abdullahi reiterated the importance of verifying information through credible party sources.
