CCTV footage has surfaced showing a kidnapping that occurred in Ekpoma around 6:00pm today, just one day after residents protested against the rising wave of abductions in the town.
According to the footage, the victim was abducted immediately after he drove into his compound to park his car. Suspected kidnappers forcefully took him away, causing panic in the area.
As of the time of this report, there is no official statement from the police. Residents are once again calling for urgent action to stop the growing insecurity in Ekpoma.
