The contractor responsible for the Ramat Park flyover project in Benin, Mr. Lee Jianshuo, has announced that the project is set for completion in May 2026. During a briefing with Edo State Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo, who visited the construction site for an inspection, Jianshuo emphasized that the project would include a comprehensive drainage system designed to eliminate flooding in the area.

Mr. Jianshuo expressed confidence in meeting the deadline, citing impressive government support as a key factor. He noted that significant structural components of the flyover have already been completed, including the fourteen spans of the beam launching, with the remaining spans expected to be finished by December of this year.
Additionally, the contractor highlighted the incorporation of an extensive underground drainage system intended to channel stormwater from Auchi Road to the water side. Once the drainage system is in place, the road will be asphalted to improve traffic flow in the vicinity.

Governor Okpebholo praised the contractor for the swift progress made on the project and reiterated his commitment to modernizing the state while promoting the welfare and security of its residents. The completion of the Ramat Park flyover is anticipated to significantly enhance infrastructure and alleviate flooding issues in the area.
