BREAKING: Armed Kidnappers Strike Ekpoma — Five Students Abducted from Their Hostels

On the evening of December 1, 2025, a distressing incident occurred in Ekpoma, Edo State, where armed kidnappers invaded the boundary between Ihumudumu and Idumebo. Eyewitnesses report to accesstvng that the assailants entered student hostels and abducted at least five young men, taking them into the nearby bush.

Tragically, it has been confirmed that five students from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, were kidnapped. One of the students was shot during the attack, resulting in significant bloodshed. The community is in shock and fear as the victims have been taken into the bush, raising urgent concerns for their safety.

As of the time of this report, there has been no response from security agencies, prompting public outcry. Residents and concerned citizens are calling on the Governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, to take immediate action. As the Chief Security Officer of the state, to enhance safety measures and ensure the protection of citizens
