The marketing firm JetHQ has removed Nigeria’s presidential Boeing 737-700 Business Jet from its sales listing. This decision follows a period during which the aircraft was available for sale but ultimately did not attract buyers. Laurie Barringer, JetHQ’s Manager of Market Research, confirmed that inquiries regarding the aircraft’s status should be directed to the Nigerian government, as the listing is no longer active.

Previously, the Nigerian government had listed the jet for sale in July 2025 as part of an effort to cut costs and streamline the Presidential Air Fleet amid public criticism of government expenditures. Despite being listed for several months, the jet remained unsold, even after undergoing refurbishment and inspections to enhance its condition and appeal.

The jet, which was purchased for $43 million in 2005, has an estimated market value of around $56 million, depending on its configuration and maintenance history. The National Security Adviser’s office has yet to provide further details regarding the aircraft’s future following its delisting.
