Speaker Agbebaku Issued Warning to Contractors Engaged in State Projects

The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Blessing Agbebaku, urged lawmakers during today’s plenary to dress in their best attire for the upcoming budget presentation scheduled for December 16, 2025.

Additionally, the Speaker issued a stern warning to contractors engaged in various state projects, emphasizing that committees have been established by the House to verify and assess the quality of their work. Inspections have already commenced, and the Speaker made it clear that the House will not tolerate substandard work. He stated that the House holds the authority to revoke contracts from any contractor who fails to meet the required standards.

Furthermore, the Speaker congratulated Hon. Frank Omosigho, the representative for Oredo East constituency, for officially joining the APC, bringing the total number of party members in the House to 21.

The session concluded with the House adjourned until December 16, 2025, at 10 AM prompt.
