The community of Mbutu Okohia village in the Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State is buzzing with joy as Evang and Pst. Mrs. Florence Kingsley Nwaorgu, the senior pastor and general overseer of Renewal Evangelical Ministry (Remite), continues his cherished tradition of giving back to the village. This year, he brought bags of rice and monetary donations, bringing smiles and hope to many families.
As the pastor arrived, the women of the village gathered in large numbers, singing and dancing in celebration, praising God for the blessings they received. In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, they presented him with a beautifully crafted portrait of him and his wife, symbolizing their appreciation for his generosity and leadership.
Receiving the thoughtful gift, Pastor Nwaorgu offered prayers for the villagers, expressing his hopes that their children would bring them joy and fulfillment. He took this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of staying connected to their roots, emphasizing that there is truly “no place like home.”
In his message, he encouraged the people to remain prayerful and to always express gratitude to God, regardless of their circumstances. His visit not only uplifted the spirits of the villagers but also reinforced the values of community, faith, and resilience that are essential for their continued growth and well-being.
