Kogi Poly lecturer, Dr. Ojodomo Slumps And Dies in Class

A lecturer with the department of Public Administration, Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Anselm Victory Ojodomo has reportedly slumped and died while delivering lecture to his students.

The incident happened on Thursday, 26th March, 2026 at about 10am.

The deceased was said to be a very respected and widely loved lecturer at the Kogi State Polytechnic.

According to eyewitness accounts, Dr Ojodomo was standing before his students delivering his lecture when he suddenly stopped talking as he gradually went down to the floor.

Noticing an unusual development, the students rushed to attend to him by trying to pick him up, but they could not. The students raised alarm to draw the attention of medical personnels in the school.

He was eventually rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Dr Ojodomo was said to have successfully defended his PhD thesis just last month and was eagerly awaiting his formal confirmation as a doctorate degree holder.
