Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, has lost his mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa, at the age of ninety-five.
The Idahosa and Enabulele families of Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State announce the peaceful passing of their beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa (née Enabulele), on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
Speaking to Access TV Nig., Idahosa remarked that Mama’s departure, though painful, is also a celebration of a fulfilled journey. He emphasized that living for 95 years is a rare privilege, reflecting a life richly blessed with wisdom and enduring values.
He noted that his mother’s legacy will continue to live on through the lives she nurtured, the morals she instilled, and the family name she upheld with dignity.
