The Rivers State House of Assembly has suspended impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu following President Bola Tinubu’s intervention.

The decision to halt the process was reached on Thursday during the Assembly’s resumed sitting in Port Harcourt, the state capital.
