The All Progressives Congress has said that reclaiming Oyo State in 2027 is no longer in doubt, citing what it described as the people’s growing love for the party.

Senator Teslim Folarin, a former Senate Leader and Oyo State Ambassador for the Renewed Hope initiative, stated this in Ibadan on Tuesday.

Folarin spoke in Ibadan North Federal Constituency during the grand finale of the 14-Federal-Constituency Tour organised by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors.

According to him, the APC in Oyo State is now united and repositioned to take over the state government and ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Reclaiming Oyo State is no longer in doubt.

“Our target is to boost APC’s fortunes by a greater percentage, which will require a lot of advocacy, particularly at the grassroots, which we are doing currently.

“The crowd at today’s gathering clearly shows that things are getting better.

It shows that people are very interested in the APC and President Tinubu’s administration.

“If we go to the polls from now, we will win Oyo State with a landslide victory,” he said.

ces within the party had decided to work together out of love for the president. Every member has put aside individual ambition for now and decided to work together as a team,” he said.

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC–Oyo South) said the warm reception and feedback from the 14 federal constituencies visited during the tour showed the people’s readiness and expectation of an APC government in Oyo State. According to him, the large turnout also expressed the people’s desire for the president to have a second term.

“We have closed our ranks and are now working as one.

We will ensure that APC rules across all elective positions at the federal, state and local government levels,” he said.

On her part, the Special Assistant to the Minister of State for Agriculture, Mrs Omolara Busari, called for greater women’s involvement in politics to achieve balanced and efficient governance. We have a good number of women who are doing great things for the nation through politics.

“Women can also do it better, and this is the time for women at all levels to come out en masse to seize the opportunity and make a change,” she said. Busari disclosed that the state women’s wing had mobilised to ensure victory for the president and other APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
