VP Shettima Leads Tributes at Janazah of Prof. Jega’s Wife

Vice President Kashim Shettima led tributes at the funeral prayer (Janazah) for Hajiya Hadiza Attahiru Jega, the wife of former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega. The solemn event took place yesterday, drawing attendees from various sectors to pay their respects.

During the Janazah, Shettima expressed condolences on behalf of the government and the people, honoring Hajiya Jega’s memory and contributions. The Vice President, along with other dignitaries, reflected on the impact she had on the lives of those around her and the legacy she leaves behind.
