The Delta State Police Command has successfully apprehended two individuals and rescued seven boys who were being held captive by an internet fraud syndicate known as Hustlers Kingdom in the Warri area.

According to a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, the police received a report on November 17 from one of the victims. He revealed that he had been lured into an apartment that turned out to be the base of Hustlers Kingdom. The victim reported that the group would physically punish them with a cane if they failed to secure paying clients, leading to visible injuries on his back.

In response to the complaint, the Quick Response Squad (QRS) of the police acted swiftly, raiding the apartment, where they found and rescued seven boys who were being held against their will. During the operation, two suspects, who referred to themselves as “chairmen,” were arrested.

The video footage captured evidence of the group’s operations, including bundles of canes, mobile phones, and laptops used for their fraudulent activities. Two of the rescued victims, aged 28 and 23, shared their harrowing experiences of being starved and beaten by the suspects, with clear signs of abuse evident on their bodies.
